Will this extension be made compatible with TYPO3 8?

Hi Christian,

I haven't maintained this extension in a while, but am willing to update it soon (or take pull requests 😉).

So far I am not sure whether to keep the legacy inclusion of the 3rd party library as it is, or to switch the extension to full composer style, which would also lead to it only being compatible with composer-mode TYPO3 installations.

Would you like to use it in a composer-mode TYPO3 installation or "classic" extension manager mode?

Hi Christian,

that would be fantastic! I'm thinking about a build process that would create a working artifact with the 3rd-party library for the extension repository, while being able to leave it out of the main repository so it's clean for composer installations.
