Haven't looked into a solution yet, but heroku only retains 1,500 lines of logs. Would be nice to stream them elsewhere. @tkwidmer mentioned sumologic

https://elements.heroku.com/addons theres an area for logging. Most of the plans only have 7 days of data retention.
