Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
When I'd like to modify a text selection / line-under-cursor to a bulleted list, I'd like that clicking the list-button would do the formatting correctly (i.e., - is added at the start of the line, or after > ), and not "where the cursor is".

Also, on partial line selection, selection should be first expanded on whole lines. (Maybe skip empty lines exactly at the start/end of selection)
