Vanilla Sweep attack no longer working

As the title says the Vanilla Sweep attack doesn't seem to be working anymore I assume this is a bug because visually sweeping still happens but no sweep attack occurs.

I request a hotfix for 1.16.5 because this is a very important feature.

What do you mean by sweep does not work, sweep is when you hit multiple mobs right? Cause that does still work for me.

It doesn't seem to work on the latest version of Age of Exile try a wooden sword it does it visually(white slash) but it doesn't seem to work (slash multiple mobs).

What version are you on?

Another example would be when I swing a hammer I get the visual slash however only 1 mob is affected not multiple even in range.

I use latest version (2.1.5), also i use AOE swords and i do hit multiple mobs.
