Display images in original size #151
Comments
Hello, thank you for your compliment! Currently you can use the mouse wheel or use two fingers to zoom in on the images, but this zooming only applies to individual images. If we were to display each image at 100% of its original size by default, it might look very awkward, for example, each image would exceed the screen size, and you would have to constantly move the images to read them. Since most people use a monitor to read, zooming the images to fit the screen size can meet the needs of most people quite well. I would like to know more about your needs, is the approach mentioned above what you need? Many thanks! |
Hello and thank you for responding! |
Maybe as a counterexample from another app: If I open the manga in OpenComic, I can just click the button between the two magnifying glasses and it will display the images in their original size until I close the manga. |
I tried OpenComic, and I found that by default its behavior in handling image zoom is consistent with Rulia, both scaling the image to fit the window size. The only difference is that OpenComic has a persistent zoom, while Rulia's zoom is independent and requires using Ctrl + mouse wheel. So it seems that what you need is a convenient, persistent manual zoom function. Is my understanding correct? |
If I could set a persistent zoom level of 0 (or 100%) that would solve my problem yes! |
I get it, thank you for your response! |
Hi, please consider adding the option to view images in their original size.
This app is very elegant, beautiful and feature rich.
It is all the more surprising that i can't display the image in it's original form!
In my opinion this is the most important thing a manga reader app should be able to do.
Kind regards
