Good morning, I would like to know if there is a way to automatically associate an existing Contact record with the Summit Events Registration record. I have reviewed the documentation, but it only refers to whether or not to create the contact, but not the option to search and add an existing one. |
If you want to have Summit Events associate the registration with an
existing contact, you'll want to follow the instructions to set up Contact
matching here:
https://sfdo-community-sprints.github.io/summit-events-app-documentation/docs/advanced-features/contact-and-lead-matching/
Hope this helps!

Once you follow those instructions, Summit Events will attempt to match to
an existing contact and associate the registration to that record rather
than creating a new one.
