[3D-Viewer] Viewer does not allow full rotation around all 3 axes

Prerequisites

Description

The 3D-Viewer allows a 360 degree rotation around the Y-axis (green axis in screenshot below), a 180 degree rotation around the X-axis (red axis) and no rotation around the Z-axis. Due to this I cannot view my very basic ship geometry in the screenshot below from the top. It would be very helpful if there was a way to allow a 360 degree rotation around all 3 axes.
