Process Builder

Process Builder is a point-and-click tool that lets you easily automate if/then business processes. The Outbound Funds Package does not contain any processes out of the box. A few processes that could be beneficial to create include:

• When all disbursements are paid, close the Funding Request.
• Create single disbursement allocation on all Funding Requests, or based on program create X disbursement on Y schedule.
• Automatically map field values from Request to Disbursement.

Email Alerts

Email alerts are emails generated by an automated process and sent to designated recipients. To send an email alert, it would need to be included as an action in a Process, an Approval Process, or Workflow Rule. The Outbound Funds Package does not contain any Email Alerts out of the box. A few Email Alerts that could be beneficial to create include:

• Reminders for upcoming Requirements for Reports.
• When a Request is Approved, send a message or assign a task to accounting staff to process disbursements.
• Send Award Letters and Email Confirmations to requestors to keep them notified of the Request status.
