Spitballing, maybe three tabs:

Show me a | List | Map | Calendar |

A map is well suited to big ass states like Washington where East Washington is immeasurably far from the other side. A calendar is how most people might think about events. A list is just a catch-all.

This might be a good project for @rapicastillo to get involved on? :D
