EXP issues

Is it me or when sometimes i kill mobs, they don't give exp for me to level up. Same as when i'm in a party sometimes even though i hit the mobs its either i don't get the exp or my friends don't.

If the mob's level is too far from either your or your friend's level, they won't give exp. If you kill the mob, but it is around +/- 5 levels from you (in difference), it won't give anything (or it will give an insanely low amount). Also, if your party member kills a mob that would not give them experience, but would give you some (again, level difference, works the other way around as well), it won't give you any either. (The person dealing around 50-75% of total HP will get the EXP, if you get any)
