[Bug] The "Insert before/after..." function doesn't work when the images already exist in the project.

Sometimes there is a need to change the order of the images in the thumbnail list to another one.
Using the "Insert before/after" function..." such images seem to change their position in the list, but when the project is closed and opened, they remain in their original places.
Using the "Remove from project..." functions and then reinserting images in the right places is not very convenient, because very often images have already been processed and have configured parameters that are erased when deleted.
Is it possible to fix this bug somehow?
