I recently switched my system with an Ubuntu 22.04 base from X11 to Wayland without changing anything about ScanTailor, id est continuing with the Qt5-based build.
It seems like there are some issues with the application in this case, especially with dialogs which do not really load their content and render lots of previous mouse pointer positions when moving the mouse.
At the moment, I have to use the X11 fallback with QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb ./scantailor.
