Section of Documentation

Researcher -> Cliopatria polity borders dataset

Description of Improvement

Make three new sections:

  1. How to load in Google Earth (with screenshots)
    • convert GeoJSON to Google Earth KML files
  2. How to load in Python, which is the current info that links back to the notebooks
  3. In addition to the "Requesting edits" we can have a "Making edits" which might involve adjusting polygons in Google Earth and saving versions (then doing the release process)
  • Include a link to the Cliopatria section of the Seshat docs on the Cliopatria README
  • Move the maintainer docs into the Seshat docs

Benefits of Improvement

Cliopatria editing and visualisation is documented fully

Additional Context

Should get Jim, Jenny & Jakob Z to review this

Definition of Done

  • The documentation improvement has been developed on a branch.
  • A pull request has been created for the new branch to be merged into the dev branch.
