Users should be able to customise location for videos, configs, DB, or the taketok home as a whole, since they may want to store this e.g. on a cloud drive. Temporary data can / should still be stored in a local directory, such as .taketok/. Consider implementing a lock mechanism as well, or consider creating an issue for later.
