started fork of your project in PowerShell
it's behind on what it can do but I managed to update my RG35xx today

bit more work and it can be used as Windows version of your script

I think your project is interesting but difficult to maintain.
The shell script is not well designed (it's only a file with a lot of if) and every merge will be a nightmare.
For me, the optimal solution is to rewrite the sh script in a multiplatform language, like Python or Java
