Demonstrate Mandrill character injection bug

The bug happens when the alerts running on appalachianwaterwatch.org sends email through mandrill for any subscription with region=WV (like David's). When the email is sent, everything seems to be right, but when it is received, there is a space character inserting into the url inside the first tag in the so it ends up like this (note the "+" character that does not belong there).
