There should be a switch for autogen vs PIN (or maybe even two different tools) that makes it more obvious.

A lot of options have bad/weird defaults (like the default binary). It would be more useful to have them be required options.

PIN error messages are entirely unhelpful. E.g. when the binary doesn't exist.

autogen should also work without a target (and just generate random tests without memory).
