The reason for this is simple: https://modx.com/extras/package/seotab?version=5fd8698c76238c68bc1cb672#other - if you look closely, you'll see that 2.0.4 is the latest one that is supported from 2.4-current,
All the others are set to be available to 2.7.x only. I think this is a mistake. Can somebody please fix this? There have been some major improvements and there are some pretty huge bugs in 2.0.4 for existing installations that set wrong default values in resource properties, etc.
Any chance you can fix this soon? This works fine in 2.8, but doesn't show up automatically in the Extras installer but it's listed as only compatible up to 2.7. Actually, it also seems to work fine in 3.0.
Ah. Yes, that adds some nice features, but is it possible to move the new SEO section into a tab? It takes up an awful lot of room and pushes the content editing field way down the page.
And, anyway, wouldn't it be nice for all the people still using (and maybe preferring) SEO Tab to be able to easily upgrade to the latest version? It just takes updating the version setting modx.com . . . 🙂
