I believe there is a company that got mache to run on their python app by uploading a non-default version of a java app with mache. This version of the app does all the log processing and not your python version

I forked log2bq to act more like macho. My code is at http://code.google.com/r/jim-log2bq/ . I decided to use the datastore to keep track of previous runs instead of Google Storage since I found the datastore more reliable to get the last run when there are failures.
