HammerDB

HammerDB http://www.hammerdb.com is a high performance database benchmarking application for Oracle Database, SQL Server, IBM Db2, MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL and Redis.

There are native builds ready to run for Linux and Windows that can be securely download here http://www.hammerdb.com/download.html. For both Windows and Linux files are available as a self-extracting installer and tar.gz for Linux and zip for Windows with the following checksums. Review the test matrix for tested operating systems http://www.hammerdb.com/docs/ch01s02.html.

Code

All source code is included with the binary downloads. Source code is identical for Linux and Windows. Code on GitHub is an additional remote to here https://sourceforge.net/p/hammerdb/code/ci/master/tree/. Commits that coincide with binary releases are pushed to the public repository.

Build from Source

The source code on this site does not require compilation however does require a compiled TCL interpreter engine, database libraries and additional packages located in the local bin and lib directories. To build a bespoke environment the recommended approach is to download one of the provided binaries and build the same packages located in bin and lib.
