All source code is included with the binary downloads. Source code is identical for Linux and Windows. Code on GitHub is an additional remote to here https://sourceforge.net/p/hammerdb/code/ci/master/tree/. Commits that coincide with binary releases are pushed to the public repository.
The source code on this site does not require compilation however does require a compiled TCL interpreter engine, database libraries and additional packages located in the local bin and lib directories. To build a bespoke environment the recommended approach is to download one of the provided binaries and build the same packages located in bin and lib.
Documentation is available here http://www.hammerdb.com/docs/index.html in Docbook format.
