[GENERAL] Speech Indicators don't shw up unless using F3 or F4

Brief description of the bug

To have any sort of typing indicator when I'm typing on the bottom text bar

I get a typing indicator so people know I am typing or replying to them

What you expected to happen

To have any indication I am typing

What actually happened

No speech bubbles at all, unless I'm using f3 or f4

Steps to reproduce

• (Step 1) Type using the bottom input bar
• (Step 2) Weep as nobody knows you are talking until it sends
• (and so on)
