Great work on this, I just started testing and it seems it will save us a LOT of time. I was wondering if you're planning a function that would subset pictures, ie run the general model first, then subset mammals only for example, and then run the family/species model.

I hadn't thought about it, but it's certainly possible. I'm not sure this would be the most effective workflow, though. The family and species models also have a category for empty, so they should be good at filtering out empty images as well, especially if your species are similar to the ones in our model (species list is available in the tables in the paper)
