Thank you for a great tutorial.
I was wondering about the rate for becoming uninfectious:
You write:
"In terms of the becoming uninfectious rate, this translates to the 95% quantiles for the infectious period falling between 0.0862 years (31.5 days) and 11.59 years, with a median of 1 year. We will see later that there is a strong signal in the data for a longer becoming uninfectious period." These 95 % quantiles are also seen on the plot (fig. 18).
This sounds like you set a prior on the infectious period, not the rate of becoming uninfectious - the inverse (compare with https://taming-the-beast.org/tutorials/Prior-selection/).
Did I misunderstand how it is interpreted? I hope you can help me :)
