Non-vanilla leaves aren't initially "bushier" until they are deleted and replaced

I recently added the better leaves pack to my Modpack with The Biomes You'll Go, and none of the non-vanilla leaves are rendering "bushier" unless they are actually placed, and not auto-generated.

I have 131 mods, and was curious to see if this is an issue that other people have experienced before, or if I'll have to go through my modlist.

Likely a mod conflict, this has not happened in my testing.
