I'm pregenerating 625 chunk radius world on a server with 16GB of RAM allocated solely due to the memory consumption of the process.
I have to manually pause the process and restart the server every time it hits the memory cap since it doesn't seem to dump any of it during the process. When it does hit cap it goes from rendering 30-60 chunks per second to <0 per second.
This becomes a huge inconvenience when I tried to get it done overnight and woke up the next morning and seeing that it got nearly nothing done and has halted.
