Is This an Enhancement to a Preexisting Feature?

  • I confirm this request is an enhancement to a feature already in The Aether.

What Is Your Feature Request?

The Dungeon Generation in Beta had a few differences that where lost in the remaster that made the dungeon a bit more interesting in my opinion

  1. The Lobby Rooms did not always generate at the start of the dungeon but in front of the boss room, this made entering the dungeon feel a bit more exciting since you often found a chest room directly at the entrance, meanwhile having the lobby room in front of the boss room made entering the boss room feel a bit more grand (it was still possible for a lobby room to be the first room, it just wasn't always the case

  2. The Tunnel that lead to the boss room was actually larger than the other tunnels (the size of the entrance tunnel), this also made the way up to the boss room feel a bit more grand and also added a little bit more variation into the dungeon

  3. Unlike in modern versions the Dungeons in beta didn't always use up all the space available to them, this resulted into a far larger generation variety since while large dungeons are nice they get repetitive quite easily considering they are the same room pasted over and over again. I think there should be a middle ground betwen the too versions since very small dungeons were a bit too common in beta

Why Should It Be in the Mod?

I think if properly implemented, these dungeon changes could make exploring a bit more interesting

Does This Feature Improve Compatibility With Another Mod?
