• Ability to specify songs in custom_playlists.json to download from YouTube (if you want a song that isn't on Spotify)
• Can load settings from file user_settings.json
• Spotify local files found in playlists are downloaded from YouTube based on their title

I've decided that the 1.x branch will remain terminal-only. I'll try to backport features in the 2.x branch to 1.x so that, if you prefer using a terminal instead of the GUI, you can do so.
