A user should not have to switch to the file browser and share the .json file of a shopping list, in order to share a list with others.
The OCS Sharing API could come in handy with this.
See the docs for general information about the sharing API

I did a quick search for possible implementations in the Nextcloud repository. This seems promising at a first glance
