Instead of just adding data (which is a lie anyway, add functions are already setters) how about implementing a setter & getter design? Users could retrieve set data and wouldn't work with a total black box.

The user hopefully already has access to the data that they've given to ASSInspector. That said, I don't see a real reason not to allow retrieving the data that's been set. Since the events are copied (and the headers will be soon), it makes sense to allow the user to free their data and use our copies.
