Yes so MDL can maybe use later. Lower priority.

This is definitely desirable. At the moment we're using the ContentDM endpoint for getting records into Primo, which requires processing to isolate UMedia from MDL materials. This is why MDL implemented their Blacklight-side endpoint. Agreed that it can be down the priority list.
