Description

The team Features are to create Interfaces in the game to make interaction with the players more interesting and to facilitate the start of the game by clicking and pushing option buttons.
The current Ideation is to allow the player to be able to navigate inside the game and figure out the build mechanics of the game and storyline.
The team is also responsible for the tower pop-up placements and the defensive wall placements.
The player stats and the tower stats are all interfaced and positioned from this team, In general Including all the Pop-up menus.

Examples (optional)

  • START: When you enter the game this UI will enable you to access the game and actually begin playing it
  • MAIN MENU: This Interface will direct you to options such as Settings, help, levels, Restart and Resume
  • BUILDINGS: This is basically the placements and seems Interface which determines the positions and themes of
    the buildings placed in the game environment. Not only buildings but , this includes the defensive walls
    for the game and positions of all other extra implementations.

Dependencies

  1. Relies on the Map team for the placements ( [Team 3]Map object management  #33 )
  2. Design committee, for the context and theme of buildings and types of them
  3. Need Input from the Tower placement team also to position and theme the tower stats ( Team: 2)
  4. Input from the mob team to position and theme the player stats ( [Team 4] Mob Interactions with Towers via Projectiles #31 )

Milestones

  • Brainstorm and pick the theme and the type of buildings and placements the Interface should be Implemented (Aug. 20)

  • Implement the design for creating the start button, Main menu, and pop-up menus in with accordance to the theme (Aug. 26)

  • Design and place various buildings ( Environment UI) in the platform once the map team concludes their idea of surroundings (Aug. 29)

Completion Deadline: Aug. 30

Extras (optional)

  • Design and place the Pop up menu for when there is any network connectivity issue
  • Have a few seconds pause timer after the player resumes the game from a pause to give the player some rebound time
