I didn't see a published roadmap about this so I thought I would put this out there. I realize this is probably a bit of a stretch, but Mac support would be the deal clincher for me. I'm currently a Chrome Remote Desktop user and with that whole application support in question, due to Chrome deprecating support for Chrome Apps, I am in the market for a new platform I can self-host.
I don't know if any work has been done towards this, but I'm a fairly competent native iOS/Mac developer so I could certainly pitch in if there's any Objective-C / C++ / Swift coding to be done. Seems like most of the current stack is written for C#/.Net which would take me some time to get up to speed.

I started on creating a macOS version awhile back but ran into a lot of problems; we got the basics working (screen share) but to implement all the other major features would require a rewrite and an understanding of macOS I don't have at this moment in ti,e
That being said, if you're interested in helping write a macOS server @FrobtheBuilder and I will be more than happy to go over the protocol with you and discuss it in more detail. By no means does the macOS version have to be written in C# as well, I myself know Swift so it wouldn't be hard to maintain it.
Shoot me an email at [email protected] and I can send you some direct contact information.
