These WIKI pages explain the principle of the whole system surrounding the NoiseCapture App, that is called the OnoM@ap Spatial Data Infrastructure.

One can suggest first to read the Introduction in order to understand the problem of noise annoyance in the environment and what justified the development of a specific infrastructure (OnoM@pà for the production of collaborative noise maps.
