Could you create a plugin to rename the original file with the new codec after encoding? eg. WAS: x264 NOW: H265?
I believe there is a plugin in tdarr that does this and its very useful for us that download and rename our files in this format.

Sorry, something went wrong.
Running through it now thanks. Not sure why it need to install so many dependencies for a file renamed but hopefully it works.
