create a Binder project (interactive Jupyter notebook in browser)

We could make the repository more accessible to visitors by using Binder to create an interactive Jupyter notebook that already opens in a browser (similar to Docker, but does not require any local installation). This allows interaction with the code and people can see it in action without having to go through with Python installation / potential issues with the notebook.
