Steam Support for HS Dota 2 League

Hello,

I'm an Esports coach in Texas and I'm in a very bad situation. I'm being forced to coach League of Legends. Why? Because it has a collegiate scene in the US and Dota 2 does not. I'd like to see if there's any interest, from literally anyone, in starting a high school Dota 2 league.

Colleges build from the ground up based upon what's popular, and especially what's played in High School as that's where they get their recruits from. There's no true amateur to professional pipeline in Dota 2, and its US Esports scene is going to be left in the dust if it doesn't open up and start building these lower-level leagues. The more people watching the matches, the more people playing, and the more people purchasing items in Dota 2 itself. I feel that it'll pay for itself easily in the long run, and should be a major priority for the Dota 2 and Valve teams.

This is an amazing game. I've played it for almost twenty years now and it's always been the one game I can go back to for competition and enjoyment. I've played professionally and I've managed large-scale tournaments, and yet I see it's Esports scene is just so....small. It's a true shame.

Even if I only find a few HS Esports coaches who are willing to take this dive with me, I'll be happy. Anything is better than nothing.
