Power creep is getting a bit out of hand lately. Despite map becoming larger it somehow feels smaller every new patch. Maybe it's the ms buffs and items. Portals and shrines to teleport to. Or maybe it's the always off cooldown teleports and free tp scroll on death. Couriers are also a problem. Making early laning victories almost irrelevant, everyone just ferries more regen.
Game needs a few tweaks. Backtrack to older ways but with modern solutions.
Everyone having their own courier is cool but made the map so small. No fountain trips. Always have teleports. (dont even have to feed for them).
Otherwise game continues to devolve into very narrow metas. Some heroes are not viable because they cant fight constantly due to tps being always up. Disincentivizes long cooldown hero picks or worse yet devs make a caricature of them (like omniknight turning into a pure dmg dealing brawler who never even skills ult) and items have insane timing power spikes. Which as a consequence forces devs to nerf or buff an item or a hero just because it can be obtained so fast by any hero who rushes it, because the courier will deliver a recipe or secondary items and there is no strategy or planning outside of "get item and rush to objective". The game is faster, but not in a good way.
