Have you checked for system updates?: [Yes/No]
Yes
Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
When CS2 window gets out of focus, system experiences huge fps drop if engine_no_focus_sleep command value is not 0. Not sure if fps gets the same as in cs2 (i dont know how to see system-wide fps, someone needs to test it), but you can definitely feel it.
Expected behavior is that fps only gets lower in the game, but not system-wide.
This started happening after one of the latest updates (few weeks max).
Im on hyprland if that makes any difference. Tried only on my current system.
Steps for reproducing this issue:
change engine_no_focus_sleep to 20
make cs2 window out of focus

I'm guessing this is gsync related maybe? I've had apps do this before where something seemingly in the background is controlling my gsync refresh rate on the monitor
