"Might it be possible to have another BELS API endpoint that returns all unique "best" georeferences for a region defined by a point and a radius and/or bounding box? The benefit here is that after displaying results if none are worthy (as in the New haven; Quinnipiac Marsh example, then user could roughly move to the appropriate area of the map and say "let me see all existing georeferences for this area where I know the point is and hopefully find an existing georeference that matches what they are looking for despite the locality string being different. Might also be good to have some feedback in this process so that when a user refines a results from BELS we have a way of recording it and eventually providing that info back to the world."
