MC v7.3 Run Progress Question

Hello, I have used a previous version (v6.x) that printed the progress of the run in increments of 10%. For v7.3 when I execute a run there is no printed information and update on run progress. Is there a way to enable v7.3 to print out run progress?

Hi, sorry for the delay in answering, somehow I was not notified of your post. There should always be output that lists the progress. If you are not seeing this, then something is wrong. Please post what comes to the screen if anything and also post your infile that you were running. Thanks! Carole

Hello, nothing appears in the terminal screen to report progress but an output file is generate after some time, so it appears the program is running. I was using the install for a Windows machine, I have attached the myinfile.txt that I was using as input.

Hi, I just downloaded your infile and tried it on my Windows laptop. It shows the progress output. I did this using a GitBash window and using a Command Prompt window. Just taking a stab at why you don't see output.
a) are you redirecting output in any way? I often do this: ./mc infile=myinfile.txt > output_myinfile.txt and run in batch. This puts everything that goes to the screen to a file.
b) do you have .NET 6 installed?
Although the simulation appears to be running and giving you results, it still is reassuring to see that progress output.
Let me know if it persists.
