Manual updates not working

Describe the bug
When trying to add a SonyCi ID or any annotations to this record, I get a notice that it has been updated, but the values have not actually been added.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to record
2. Click on edit
3. Scroll down to annotations or AAPB Admin Data
4. Enter in valid values, press save
5. See message about update, look for new values in GUI or xml - they are not there

Expected behavior
Values that are entered manually in GUI should persist after pressing save.
