compatibility issue with King Composer

Describe the bug
We have been troubleshooting slowness on our website and narrowed it down to the Strong Testimonials plugin. With the plugin enabled, our pages take ~4 seconds to return the 200 status code. As soon as the plugin is disabled, our pages take 300ms to return the 200 status code.

Using this tool (health check), I discovered that the slowness only happens when using King Composer and Strong Testimonials together.
