If possible I'd like the article meta to display on top of the sidebar when first viewing the article, but as you scroll down it should move to the bottom (readable) position in the sidebar. Can that be done @ldebrouwer ?

No problem, I'll pick it up sometime this weekend!

Awesome. Would make a cool effect that I don't think I've seen done before like that.

Is this done, otherwise I can help? (as I have some time now)

@noeltock You can pick this up if you want to, I've already laid the groundwork for it in the static html files with my 'creepy uncle' plugin. It should be trivial to implement/optimize.

Ok, I've added the code for it, but not sure that's the result we want?

Preferably the article meta box moves to the bottom of the widgets when you scroll down

Would it just stay there static (i.e. as last child in sidebar div) or be fixed positioned at the bottom of the browser window?

(I'm ok on FF, but W7)

  • On a resolution < 993px wide the article meta now appears twice.
  • On the moment it has to starts scrolling it briefly starts only to shoot back to the top again.

Ah k weird, I still need to handle all edge cases obv. but the second one is really awkward.

Is your content shorter than your widget area?
