The way the database stores the username created during sign-up is in quotations, as it is stored as data-type text.
I think either changing the way the text is stored, the data type, or implementing a simple substring in the stats tab or when displaying username should do the trick.
To recreate:
Simply make a standard account with any username
The only page where username is displayed is currently the stats tab
Look under "Personal Stats"
