You talked about a possible rebranding if you add more additional functionality to this app, like UDP, mqtt etc.
So is there a bucket list / outline / plans or something for this apps successor?
For my part there is a thing I really would like, and something that has become a more or less a standardized pattern over the last couple of years:
A trigger tab, for lite automations without the need for Tasker or similar.
Something along the line "if connected to WLAN X" or rudimentary geolocation based on cellphone cells, advanced timers etc.
Oh and let me throw a name into the hat: "NetRequester"

I don't have a clear vision. Given that I'm currently barely able to dedicate time to this project, I try not to make any big plans at all.
I'm currently considering making it easier to send TCP, UDP, MQTT and the like, by adding UI for it such that it becomes accessible to those who can't/won't write JavaScript code. But again, no clear vision on how, when and if this will happen.
Regarding the triggers: I don't really want to consider adding more triggers at this point, mainly for the following reasons:
It adds a LOT of complexity. Complexity that I would not be able to maintain
It pushes the app further in the direction of a general-purpose automation app, which is something I don't want, as there are already so many that fill this niche way better
The app already has triggers which barely work, such as the repeated execution of shortcuts, which need a full overhaul first
As such, this is far down on my list of priorities, and for the time being I will keep recommending the use of Tasker or similar for those use cases.
