I've sideloaded the APK on my nvidia Shield TV (Android TV).

It would be super nice to have :

  • Create shortcuts on the StartPage
  • Have a GUI which is keyboard/remote compatible (now you can only navigate on the top level)
  • The app visible in the Android TV Store (low prio)

Many thanks and best regards !

Agreed on this part,
1-Create shortcuts on the StartPage

This would be enough already, since we can edit shortcuts from desktop.

I'll add a request for this aswell. It already works mostly as it is, only needs proper hilighting of the currently active shortcut when using input button based navigation.

I'm currently trying to improve the selection and highlighting of shortcuts and UI elements a bit, so that this works better on TV (and other devices that don't have a touchscreen or mouse). Some of these improvements will be part of the next release.

As of version 2.21.1, the support for DPAD and arrow key input is slightly improved. I'll keep this issue open, as I still want to improve this further, so I'm happy to hear some feedback on what works and what doesn't.
