Save with double click does not actually save the game

Saving a game by opening the save dialogue and then double clicking a save file does not save the game, even though there is a message at the bottom saying the game was saved.

The only workable way of saving a game is by opening the save dialogue, single click on a save slot and then clicking the "Save" button of that dialogue.
