The Waydines Pact-Exclusive Source License is a source-available (not open-source!) license created by the Third Parliamentary Republic of Waydines to govern the use, distribution, and modification of software under its jurisdiction. This license is designed for public government services and aims to maintain control over software distribution, particularly outside the territory of Waydines.
The license restricts the redistribution of the software to ensure that the software remains within the control of the government of Waydines and cannot be freely distributed without official approval or a formal Bilateral Pact.
- Usage within Waydines: The software can be viewed, modified, and used for personal or commercial purposes within Waydines.
- Distribution Restrictions: Redistribution outside of Waydines is strictly prohibited unless a Bilateral Pact is signed between Waydines and the recipient country.
- No Commercialization: The software cannot be sublicensed, sold, or commercialized without explicit written permission from the copyright holder.
- Compliance: Entities seeking to distribute the software outside Waydines must establish a Bilateral Pact with Waydines.
