There is an issue that I don't understand can you explain why this error is showing up in my console.

your nodejs version is outdated. You need at least v16 to run. If you're using repl.it, do these steps.

Go to shell, and type npm i node@16
Now, on your repl.it config, instead of using node index.js, use this npx node@16 index.js
