“Group” is an ambiguous term – can this change depending on the selection in Options (either Ligand Name or Metal) and remove its entry in the header?
It is problematic that the header goes off-screen on scrolling for later results. Can it be fixed in place?
Results
It would be much better to show a small Mol file preview next to the name of the ligand (rather than as an object icon in the expanded result).
Can we add a show-all link that brings one to the Detail Page (see comment below about Ligand results with all metals shown) for the first metal listed?
The long list format requires lots of scrolling. Expanding categories makes the list longer. Is there a way to make the results appear less linearly?
BUG or ERROR IN DATABASE – I only see results for EDTA with H+ and Ca2+. There should be many many more!
Expanded Results
Metal results should be listed by periodic number (the current order is uncertain)
Ligand results should be listed alphabetically (or perhaps better, by number of results (could this be indicated) and then alphabetically?)
Metals results should include their charges and formatted superscript charges (same thing as “formula string”, maybe not?) – if more than one, perhaps as a parenthetical after the “root” metal?
Ex. H+, Na+, Fe2+, Fe3+
Remove Metal charge Table Header
Can we remove Formula String? Only if no different from formatted Metal + Metal Charge
I am noticing an occasional bug where expand result entries don’t disappear and get stuck in the result table (see image below)
